Private Party – Booking Terms & Conditions

We want every celebration at Minori to be enjoyable, relaxed and well organised. To help us prepare your event and avoid misunderstandings, please read the following information carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Booking Confirmation

A party booking is considered confirmed once the required deposit/payment has been received and Minori has confirmed the booking date and time in writing.

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and accept these Party Booking Terms & Conditions.

2. Pre-Party Communication

Our team will contact the booking organiser by email approximately one week before the party date to finalise the event details.

This communication will cover matters including:

* Estimated and final guest numbers
* Number of adults and children
* Food selections and quantities
* Dietary requirements and allergies
* Drinks or additional catering
* Party setup and other relevant arrangements

Customers are not required to finalise these details immediately after making the booking unless specifically requested by Minori.

Please ensure that the email address provided with your booking is correct and monitored during the week leading up to your event.

If you have not received our email seven days before your party, please contact Minori directly.

3. Guest Numbers & Venue Capacity

Minori may use approximately 50 guests as a general reference when discussing private functions. This is a reference only and is not a guaranteed capacity for every event.

The appropriate number of guests for each party depends on a number of factors, including:

* The number of adults and children
* Seating requirements
* The style and layout of the event
* Food and beverage service
* Space required for children, prams and other equipment
* Safety and comfortable movement throughout the venue
* Any additional setup requested for the event

For this reason, guest numbers will be considered individually for each booking.

If you are considering a larger party, please discuss your expected numbers with us before sending invitations. We are happy to discuss whether your proposed arrangements can reasonably be accommodated.

4. Final Guest Numbers

Final guest numbers must be provided to Minori no later than 7 days before the party date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Once final numbers have been confirmed, Minori will prepare staffing, seating, food and other arrangements based on those numbers.

Any request to increase guest numbers after final confirmation is subject to Minori’s approval and operational capacity.

Additional guests should not be assumed to be accepted unless Minori has confirmed the change.

Minori reserves the right not to accommodate guests above the number that has been agreed for the event where doing so would affect service, safety or the reasonable operation of the venue.

5. Food, Drinks & Dietary Requirements

Food selections, quantities and any dietary requirements or allergies should be confirmed during the pre-party communication approximately one week before the event.

The booking organiser is responsible for informing Minori of known allergies or dietary requirements within the required timeframe.

Requests or significant changes made after final confirmation will be accommodated where reasonably possible but cannot be guaranteed.

6. Changes to Your Party

Any changes to guest numbers, food, setup, timing or other arrangements should be communicated to Minori as early as possible.

Changes requested within 7 days of the event are subject to availability and operational feasibility and cannot be guaranteed.

Please do not rely on assumptions about available space, seating or catering. Any significant changes should be confirmed with Minori in writing.

7. Communication With Our Team

Our team will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your party.

Depending on staff availability, different team members may assist with different stages of your booking. Our Front of House Leader or another authorised senior team member may assist with party arrangements on behalf of management.

If you specifically wish to discuss a matter with the business owner or another particular member of management, an appointment may need to be arranged according to their availability.

Immediate face-to-face meetings cannot always be accommodated.

8. Respectful Behaviour Towards Staff

Minori is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for our customers and our team.

We understand that organising an important celebration can sometimes be stressful, and we are always happy to discuss concerns or problems calmly and professionally.

However, disrespectful, intimidating, aggressive, threatening or abusive behaviour towards Minori staff will not be accepted.

This includes, but is not limited to:

* Shouting at or verbally abusing staff
* Personal insults or discriminatory comments
* Threatening or intimidating behaviour
* Repeatedly confronting staff after being asked to communicate with management
* Unreasonable behaviour that interferes with staff carrying out their duties
* Harassment of staff in person, by telephone, email or other communication channels

Customers are welcome to raise complaints or concerns. We simply ask that these are communicated respectfully.

Where behaviour towards our staff is considered abusive, threatening or seriously inappropriate, Minori reserves the right to end the discussion, require communication to continue in writing or through management, ask the person to leave the premises, or, in serious circumstances, cancel or terminate the event.

Nothing in this section limits any rights a customer may have under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Party Organiser’s Responsibility

The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that their guests are aware of and comply with venue requirements.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or supervising adults during the event unless Minori has expressly agreed otherwise.

The organiser is responsible for the reasonable behaviour of their guests and for any damage caused to the venue, furniture or equipment by members of their party.

10. Event Timing

Your booking applies to the agreed party date and time.

Any setup or access required before the booked start time must be discussed with Minori in advance.

Parties must finish at the agreed time unless an extension has been approved by Minori.

Additional time cannot be assumed to be available on the day.

11. Concerns Before Your Event

If you have any concerns about your booking, guest numbers, catering or arrangements, please raise them with us before the party date wherever possible.

We want to have the opportunity to address concerns and clarify arrangements before the event takes place.

Where a concern requires involvement from the business owner or a specific manager who is not available at that time, we may ask you to arrange another time to discuss the matter with them.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a private party booking with Minori, the booking organiser confirms that they have read and accepted these Party Booking Terms & Conditions.

Our goal is to make every Minori celebration enjoyable for our guests while ensuring a safe, respectful and well-organised environment for everyone.
